Utrecht-based same day and next day delivery startup Trunkrs raises €15 million in growth capital
Trunkrs, specialist in same day & next day delivery for the e-Commerce sector, has successfully raised €15 million in a series B investment round. The financing round was led by Korys, the Belgian investment company of the Colruyt family. In addition to Korys, VP Capital, Family office of the Van Puijenbroek family, and Amsterdam-based SET Ventures, which previously invested in Trunkrs, also participate. IMPROVED Corporate Finance advised and assisted Trunkrs in this financing.

Trunkrs is a leading delivery partner of premium e-Commerce parties in the Netherlands. Many web shops, including those of Mediamarkt, rely on Trunkrs for the fast and reliable delivery of their parcels. Since 2021, the company has also been supplying in Flanders. The capital raised enables Trunkrs to maintain and increase its market leader position in the Benelux. In addition, the company will use the new investment to accelerate the sustainability of the parcel delivery chain.

Trunkrs was founded in 2015 with the aim of making the 'last mile' of parcel delivery sustainable. By ingeniously using the existing delivery vans and distribution centers in the chain, Trunkrs keeps its own footprint small. Above all, the company is actively involved in the electrification of partners' fleets.
