Stanley Capital Partners (SCP), the specialist healthcare and resource efficiency private equity investor, has announced its strategic investment in Roboyo, the world’s largest specialist hyper-automation company. SCP will work in partnership with the existing private equity backers, MML Capital (MML) and the management team.

Roboyo is the market-leading independent consultancy company helping large corporates implement and manage a full spectrum of Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered automation technologies, creating hybrid human digital workforces and elevating enterprise performance gains from increments to multiples.

Through organic growth methods and a series of strategic acquisitions, Roboyo has grown to over 600 employees, across 15 countries and 4 continents. It provides services including conversational AI, IDP, LCNC and RPA technologies to clients including Santander, Heineken, Puma, DHL, Credit Suisse, Scania, ING and many others.

SCP is a fast-growing, European-focused, mid-market private equity firm with proven expertise in finding and creating value within the growth markets of Healthcare and Resource Efficiency. SCP’s proprietary research and precedent experience in the market were key factors that led to this successful investment. SCP’s research identified Roboyo’s leading position and ability to escalate the growth of its market share, in the ~$8 billion p.a. Automation Service Provider market. Corporate investment in hyper-automation services is forecast to grow at +30% CAGR over the next 10-15 years, as companies seek to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs and maintain competitiveness in a continually evolving business landscape.

SCP’s investment thesis, in partnership with MML and management, is to build on Roboyo’s existing market leadership as a proven consolidator and to accelerate this strategy. SCP brings capital, resources and incremental reinforcement, including potential integration benefits through SCP’s proven Transformation Team and Leader Network operating model.

This represents SCP’s first Resource Efficiency investment. AI and Automation will have a significant and positive contribution to avoiding emissions and reducing resource consumption globally. AI and Automation enable clearer and more precise strategies and accelerate their implementation, in a cost-effective way, with direct profit and climate impact. Combined, these products have the potential to remove up to ~10 Gt CO2e by 2050.

The investment adds further momentum to Stanley Capital’s already successful year and broader development following a series of senior appointments and promotions to its investment and operations teams respectively.
