Insurtech startup Korint, announced a €5 million fundraising led by Ventech, with the renewed confidence of 360 Capital. This second round brings the total amount of funding raised by Korint since its creation at the end of 2022 to €7 million.

The first round of funding in March 2023, allowed Korint to launch a decisive innovation: a SaaS “core platform”, allowing insurers and brokers to rapidly and massively deploy new insurance products. This platform is based on an original logic engine that allows the entire life of an insurance contract to be managed in real time, even the most complex (multi-products such as “flexible mobility, deferred riders, multiple additions, etc.). At the same time, cloud hosting, scalable infrastructure and API architecture give customers flexibility and control over the management of their products.

This solution has already attracted big names in the sector , such as Wakam for the launch of the first insurance dedicated to employee bicycles, or WTW for a car assistance platform. Recently, the insurtech has also become the digital platform of the brokerage firm Yeet Assurances and of certain major brokerage players for the distribution of the Vélo Salariés offer. New signatures are planned in the coming weeks.

This new fundraising will allow Korint to strengthen its development team, particularly with tech and insurance profiles, in order to accelerate the growth of its platform and continue to innovate. With this fundraising, the company intends to definitively respond to a major need among insurance players looking for new 100% digital management tools capable of managing complex B2B insurance policies.

Jean BOURCEREAU, President and Managing Partner, Ventech: ''We were attracted by the technical nature of Korint’s solutions. The technologies used can manage the most advanced and innovative insurance products. This is a major competitive advantage. Supporting ambitious and bold entrepreneurs who use technology to advance industries is the basis of Ventech’s investment thesis. It was a natural choice for us to support Jean-Baptiste, Martin and their teams!''

Thomas NIVARD, Partner, 360 Capital: ''We are delighted to see Korint confirm all the promises we saw during our first financing 18 months ago. The need for digitalization of the market is clear and this new round of funding will give them all the means to become the reference on the market.''

The insurtech offers a next-generation insurance platform that allows insurers to deploy the best products, simply, quickly and scalably. The Korint platform is designed to manage all P&C products, from the simplest (MRH insurance or “gadget”) to the most complex (multi-product insurance such as “flexible mobility”).

Korint was founded by Jean-Baptiste Limare, who is now the CEO. Alongside him, Martin Gross, who is now the CTO.
