Developer marketplace platform Deazy has appointed Laura Wall as Head of Marketing, as the Bristol-based tech startup seeks to continue its impressive growth trajectory and further establish itself as a trusted source of tech talent to enterprises.

Wall has worked for organisations in New York, Los Angeles and London. She joins Deazy from global software consultancy Codurance, where she held the role of Global Head of Marketing and targeted CTOs and Heads of Engineering to help navigate cloud migration journeys. She has a wealth of tech and digital experience, having also held senior marketing positions at ClickZ and Econsultancy. At Deazy, Wall will be responsible for helping to drive growth across the business, particularly with the enterprise sector.

On her appointment, Laura said, “Deazy felt like a great fit immediately. I love being part of a team that’s united in its goal and in which everyone contributes by using their skills and expertise to help the team win. There’s a great market opportunity for Deazy. There has been a dev talent crisis for many years now, and the causes of this will not be addressed any time soon. Tech leaders need to re-assess how they have been looking for talent and explore alternative ways of accessing talent. Deazy helps those leaders plug any gaps in their organisations, removing the burden and headache of finding and managing external tech talent. Deazy is helping make technology accessible so more businesses can use it to innovate and improve clunky or frustrating experiences. It’s a platform that can play a pivotal role for organisations in sourcing tech talent and it’s an exciting time to be joining such an innovative company.”

Deazy is a curated developer marketplace, which provides enterprises and fast-growth scale-ups with high-quality development teams to provide a wide variety of technical expertise and know-how, offering greater capacity and flexibility. A 2022 Deloitte report stated Deazy was the 13th fastest-growing tech company in the UK for revenue over the last four years.

Andy Peddar, CEO, Deazy: “It’s a challenging time for enterprises, which are required to do more and more with technology and to do so without the required levels of budget and resources. Laura is the perfect person to communicate how Deazy can help enterprises address those challenges. Her experience and know-how as a tech marketer make her the ideal hire for Deazy as we look to continue our growth and achieve our goal of becoming Europe’s most trusted developer marketplace by 2025.”
