Developer marketplace platform Deazy, has appointed Freya Wordsworth as the new Partnerships Manager, as part of a growth push for 2023 that will see the Bristol-based tech firm build a partnership eco-system.

Wordsworth will be tasked with setting up this new channel and growing a partnership network for Deazy, targeting three categories of partner: consultancies and accelerators, investors and VCs, and business service providers.

She has a strong track record in building similar eco-systems for other startups. Wordsworth was previously Head of Business Development and Partnerships at fintech Regionally, where she grew the network to more than 85 critical regional organisations. She joins Deazy from the startup founder community, The Founding Network, where she helped lead the company's launch in Berlin, growing the German partnership base to 100+ founders within three months.

Freya Wordsworth, Partnerships Manager, Deazy: ''Partnerships can be a major channel for Deazy – they will open up a whole host of new opportunities for us and can be a critical way of driving growth in 2023. It’s all about the quality of partner, businesses that see the value of access to unlimited tech talent. Deazy has a proposition that will be hugely compelling to many potential partners. For example, it makes complete sense for a VC to deploy Deazy's services across their portfolio, delivering economies of scale without any compromise on quality, and subsequently having the potential to increase their ROI. My goal is to find and install a range of quality partners across our target groups and for the right partners to work with us on event and marketing initiatives. It's an exciting time to join Deazy, and it feels like a significant opportunity for partnership success. By the end of 2023, we will have a fully-functional partner eco-system."

Deazy is a curated developer marketplace, providing enterprises and fast-growth scale-ups with high-quality development teams handpicked to provide broad technical expertise and greater capacity and flexibility. In 2022, Deazy closed a Series A funding round of £5million ($6.8million) through investment from Puma Private Equity.

Andy Peddar, CEO, Deazy: “This is a new and key role for Deazy – partnerships will be a key component of our growth plans for 2023 and beyond, and we are lucky to have Freya spearheading this exciting new push. She has a proven track record at building and growing partner networks – particularly with the investor and VC communities – so we cannot wait to see her bring that same success to Deazy.”

Wordsworth has already signed 10 partners for Deazy, including UX design agencies and corporate advisors.
